How to Measure at Home
Step 1
Measure Your Band
Wrap the tape snugly under your bust, directly against your skin. Round to the nearest inch — match it to the chart above.
Step 2
Measure Your Bust & Find Your Cup
Keep the tape relaxed around the fullest part of your bust. Subtract your band measurement from your bust — the difference tells you your cup letter.

How It Should Feel
Band lies flat all around
The band should sit level from front to back. Slide two fingers underneath — snug, but not digging in. If it rides up, size down. If it pinches, size up.
Cups hold without overflow or gap
No spillage over the top or sides, no puckering fabric. If spilling, try the next cup range up within the same band. If gaping, try the next cup down.
Closure is comfortable and secure
On 4-hook styles, always start on the loosest hook. Move to a tighter hook as the band softens with wear over time.
Straps stay without digging
Slide two fingers under each strap — it should feel supportive without leaving marks. The band carries 80% of the support; straps just guide position.
Between Sizes?
Each size covers a range, and the closure gives you built-in adjustability. If you're right at the edge of two sizes, try both — the hook & eye or clasp means you can fine-tune the fit once it's on.

How It Should Feel
Band sits flat and snug
The band should wrap your ribcage comfortably without riding up. You should be able to slide two fingers underneath — no more.
Cups contain without spilling
Bralette cups are softer than underwire — the fabric should cradle your bust fully with no overflow or gaping. If spilling, size up.
Straps stay comfortably in place
Straps should rest on your shoulders without digging in or slipping off. Adjust if needed — most Cloud & Butter bralettes have adjustable straps.
Smooth silhouette under clothes
Put on a fitted top to check. No bunching, visible lines, or texture. If you see any, try a seamless style in the same size.
